Frameworks & bridges
Coast scripts detect your framework automatically on start — you don’t have to set anything.
| Framework | Detected by | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Qbox | qbx_core started | Preferred when both Qbox and QBCore are present |
| QBCore | qb-core started | |
| ESX | es_extended started | ESX Legacy 1.10+ |
| Standalone | none of the above | Only for scripts marked Standalone |
Bridge files
Framework calls (money, jobs, items, notifications) live in an open bridge/ folder:
bridge/
├─ qb/ client.lua server.lua
├─ qbx/ client.lua server.lua
├─ esx/ client.lua server.lua
└─ custom/ client.lua server.lua ← start here for your own frameworkUsing a heavily modified framework or a custom inventory? Edit the matching bridge file — the escrowed core only talks to the bridge.
